HG3 charging for an extra 30 days
Hi everyone,
My contract with three expires on the 11th December, iv already got a new contract and when i got the PAC code from three I assumed that the contract would simply end on the 11th.
However, they are now saying that I need to give 30 days notice, so I will in effect be paying for a contract that no longer exists untill Jan!
I was under the impression that unless i renewed my contract with three (which i havn't) then it would just end on the 11th, and iv never heard of having to give 30 days notice before.
any help would be appreciated... i dont want to be paying for two contracts at the same time.

when did you get the PAC?3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Your contract doesn't expire. All that happens is the mimimum term is up. After that it drops into a 30 day rolling contract which you have to give 30 days notice to end. Its all in the T&C's.
If you didn't want it to end and it just stopped at the 18/24 month mark you wouldn't be too pleased would you ?0 -
30 days notice to cancel is standard practice. This means that you should have requested your PAC code on the 11th November.0

A query on that is you not in contract /with the network until your PAC code has actually been used like a MAC code for the Internet . jje0
