    Subs don't depend on the word index database that the forum search does, so they are unaffected.

    A lot of people don't subscribe to every thread they post on (automatically or not), if that is what you were thinking of?

    thanks fermi, my subscribe is working OK, which I have had a problem with previously when there have been problems on the site. It just seems to be Search Function not working for me :eek:

    Spot on fermi, I always assumed people who post a lot, across the forum like outer might be subscribing. How else would they know where they've posted. So I was suggesting that they could use the option of checking their subscriptions instead of searching for posts for the time being.

    my last post showing from the 30th nov when find all posts by me must have done another 10 since then at least. i reckon the have mucked up the sql database the other day when site was running slow they said sql was being adjusted i reckon they have screwed it up its just a shame that no member of mse staff has bothered to read/reply about this.
