Filling drums of home heating oil

McGinley's on Buncrana Road in Derry have a home heating oil pump beside their petrol pumps - so you can fill up a drum of home heating oil if you don't need/can't afford a bigger oil delivery by lorry.

Does anyone know of any other places in and around Derry that have a dedicated home heating oil fuel pump? I'm living beside Altnagelvin - so the closer to there, the better!!

Thanks!

  • Don't know of any around where I live. Is it cheaper to buy from the pump than to buy the emergency drums? They are extortionate.

YES a lot more, you pay price per litre at pump, drums cost a fortune for all you get:o

  • Costcutters in Magheramason might be a bit far £13 for 20 litres.

Thank you. Can people then please post where these pumps are as it would help others who might otherwise have to buy the drums. I'd be grateful to know about any in Co Down or Belfast. :)
