They are mixing the concrete for my foundations on site as this is more cost effective (I'm guessing their labour is extremely cheap) - I'm a bit concerned that this means the 'mix' may be a bit random - any one able to offer advice?
    I think....

I mixed concrete using shovels and eye as a measure aged 16 with no experience. No problems quarter of a century later.

They're rebuilding the Molineux as we speak, and are using rubble etc in the concrete mix for foundations to recycle as well as saving costs. Given they're building a football stadium & it is Steve Morgan who has made the decision & it'll support a museum, offices, archives as well as a stand holding 9000 people, I'm relatively confident it'd be all fine.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

They're grafters then! We pump it in because it's not that expensive. I'm sure it will be fine, their labour must be cheap because I reckon it would cost us about the same in time as it does to ship it in.

Being random, there was a lot of talk about Prince Harry looking like James Hewitt around the Royal Wedding, but I'm just watching the Duke at 90 and he is the absolute spitting image of his grandfather. It's pretty cruel gossip, the evidence is pretty irrefutable if you ask me! The eyes, forehead, slightly furrowed brow, teeth, smile, everything!
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Black Swan is a really good film imo. I really like Darren Aranofsky. His first film (Pi) was fantastic. His re-working of Requiem for a Dream is, imo probably his best acheivemnt to date. A phenomenal powerhouse of a movie that really looks at the human relationship with addiction. If anyone ever tells you that this film is about drugs, you can pretty much ignore everything else they ever say in their lives, as they are obviously missing several brain cells.

I haven't seen the wrestler yet. The fountain was overblown, and rushed. I like the idea, but it was a pet project that didn't translate to the big screen.

I haven't seen Black Swan and the Wrestler yet, but Pi is excellent and I quite liked The Fountain.
Requiem for a Dream must be one of the most hard hitting movies I've ever seen. A nightmarish unrelenting downward spiral into addiction, relationship breakdown and despair. Brilliant camera work, awesome soundtrack by the Cronos Quartet.
After we watched it, Mrs. Wheezy needed a hug. And so did I.

I did it myself as well, by hand. Was pretty easy and the people who bought my house haven't tracked me down to complain yet. Mind you it was only 5 years ago and there's nothing built on top of it. I was supervised by my dads friend who is a sort of builder. More of a handyman really.

It was fairly easy to judge though, I'm sure someone who knows what they are doing would have no problems.

Ah, my hair is fair, very soft and fine, quite thick, and very straight. So unless I brush it, I look a total mess. Dragged through a hedge backwards type mess.

Are you mixed race? Sounds like Afro-Carribean hair you're describing?

My hair is below the shoulder (was longer but I got it cut for my birthday), quite fine and curls into ringlets if left to dry naturally, otherwise it just looks wavy.

It has the appearance of being quite thick but appearances are deceptive...it also needs to be brushed quite often or I too, look like I have been dragged through a hedge.

Natural hair colour is brown with coppery bits but is currently a warmer chestnut sort of colour courtesy of hair dye to cover the ever growing grey. I have the lightest hair out of the children, both my brother and sister take after my dad in that their hair is almost black in colour, while my mum was a very light brown or dark blonde (of course, hers is now pure white). Until I was 5, I had very blonde hair.

My boys also have varying hair, both middle and eldest have a similar colour, slightly darker than my natural colour but youngest was a real blondey which has darkened over time to a more dirty blonde colour. Eldest also has an ever growing amount of ginger hair in his beard (yep, he has one of those horrible things).

We always used to joke that youngest was the milk man's as he looked so different to the other two but had to stop as he heard it once and went into major freak out and meltdown  (he takes everything literally)
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

What's the spec for your concrete? Air-entrained or anything like that?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Deleted - I thought it was sufficiently vague, but you never know who's stalking.
