I suppose Mr T will pay me a penny each for this wombling.
Local news here is: Rumours say that Mr T is to buy the school field to build a superstore. We've no big stores here at all, no 24 hour shopping. Although I can't see them doing 24 hour shopping on that site, it'd be nice to have a big shop.0 -

I have, in the first instance, 5 stables 15 feet square to do....that is if I can do it piecemeal. If I can't the whole building is 45 feet by60 feet.
Its going to cost a bomb, innit?:(
edit: PN is that the liquid rubber as opposed to matting?0 -
On the basis that horses are things I drive past in fields... and never been near one.... what about epoxy resin? Would that do? I've found some resin, self-levelling stuff that you lay on concrete to give it a smooth top.
Internet connection's giving up though - just typing this I've been disconnected twice/pages not loading.... but it seems 1/5th of the price maybe, or maybe you just use less... no idea as I can't get anything to load at the minute0 -

You could save a bit by only doing the middle bits - so the equivalent of a room-sized rug rather than fitted carpets... surely you have gulleys between the stables - even 1' wide apiece would add up.0 -
I have to try a reboot now, can't even get google to load.0

What is it? epoxy resin?
Horse weigh between 1/2-1 &1/4 tonnes (we have heavy horses here!) and that all goes through their feet: they can have onlt two feet on the floor at times. So it has to be tough. It also has to be non slip...that's absolutely vital. Horses feet aren't very good for traction. even concrete is generally ridged for dranage and also traction with them.
People used to use just concrete, and still do, but its not ideal. If we had concrete on the floor I'd go with that for a while. In fact, I could even use the pressed stone fr a while, if I know I can sort it out at a later date...if that's possible with a rubber product. I can use lots of bedding till I can afford the floor if I do that.:o:o0 -

Hmm, thats a good idea. I wonder if the labour for that wuld negate the saving on product though.0 -
Right... i has teh internetz back.
This is an old/slow PC with intermittent connectivity as the service has deteriorated this last month... you'd never think I work online for my entire income would youIt takes 15 minutes to do a reboot.
I've no idea what any of it is, or if it's non-slip... I'll google again.0
