She had a brain aneurysm. She was apparently perfectly healthy one moment and not the next. We did get a call to say that she was very poorly but had no idea it was fatal. I think they made the decision today to say goodbye. One of the hardest parts for those left behind about donating organs must be that the doctors have to keep them alive, so to speak to keep the organs healthy. I think I'd find that almost impossible to deal with in that situation, she was just too young.
Maybe the Big Man in the Sky needs some help selling his house :AEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Don't get me started on fairy tales, but just possibly there's something in it, as the only person I knew personally who died of an aneurysm was in property too. Sadly, he left behind a wife and two children, one of whom is very severely handicapped. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

ATM I can't remember but his might have been what happened to my MIL. I just can't remember whether aneurysm or embolism atm. I'm sorry for all concerned. It was nice she, her colleagues and family know that she was appreciated in her career.0 -

No, not yet - this is the plan. First flat (sorting that now), then wedding, then baby. So hold the congrats for a bit!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Delayed withdrawal symptoms?
Well ... getting through them. Probably 4-5 weeks' worth left.0 -

Thanks for the kind thoughts and words, everyone.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
There's a big fire here, been out for a drive-by, but can't get anywhere near it without parking/walking ... and even then they've taped the road off and it seems to be behind some houses/in some old shabby workshops.... so no point bothering too much.
Loads of sirens, there's no proper fire brigade here, it's all volunteers.... but I've also heard engines arriving from 3 other fire stations around the area.... I think it's because it's right by so many houses, all close together, so they're pulling out all the stops to prevent it spreading.
Big clouds of black smoke in the sky though.0 -

Get an electronic one, or volunteer at the local rescue shelter.0
