DD has decided she wants to watch Superscrimpers and has seen the first few episodes. Tonight she told me she had come up with a good idea for keeping warm. She suggests cutting old socks open to flatten them out, and then sewing them into a blanket. I hope she forgets about it soon, or I will have her presenting me with piles of outgrown socks ready cut open and pestering me to start sewing.

    Oh, thats very cute Lydia.

God, no, the girl ones, one in wite one in gold.

Oh, that explains it. I missed them. I expect the music put my senses into shutdown.

Graham Norton's doing eurovision final. Am I the only one who dislike his presenting? I find his voice grating.

Get a cheap single sheet ready ... and some good craft glue/PVA/whatever. Then tell her how it's a great idea and they can be glued to a sheet rather than sewn together... then pass them back to her.

    He hath good taste.

I prefered the drunk, cynical & condascending Irishman. (Although I'm obliged to somewhat dislike him too - for not waving payment for the children in need gig.)
