Does Exocet mind if I forward the link forwarded to me? He gave pretty clear instructions how to find it, did he edit that out?

Clear if you knew his previous name on her, but I can never remember names.

Well, ex has turned up to take the boys out to the cinema......32 minutes late which means they will be pushing it to be on time to see the film!

It's hardly rocket science is it? Be on time to see the children you haven't seen since the beginning of March and thus, be on time to arrive at the cinema to see the film they want to see. It's a palty 3 hours out of his long weekend stay...not much to ask really.

Suppose it cuts out the awkward questions though as they won't have time to ask them!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Thanks LIR, I don't think I mind. I did edit it out because you know how paranoid I am. But on reflection I don't see what harm it can do.

tbh, after the pre release publicity, it will all be a let down. Just how to buy soft toys and why you should invest in male incontinence pants.

Sunny and warm here. Bright sun, like a summer's day. No sign of Mr Whitey.

We have 6-8" here, but sun as well. :)

Daughter2 walked the 2 miles to the station and caught the train as normal. I just fed the sheep and then floated about, taking photos for next years Christmas cards. Might put one on here later, but I now have to walk to the plantation and drag a tree home.....

    Honoured to be called decent!

    Thanks for the link.

Good luck with it Exocet, very funny writing.

I still don't get how it makes money. Did PN say something about being paid per click from your page, rather than people needing to buy something from a click from your page? Seems to ring a bell.

So do you sit at the computer clicking on your links all day?

    Thanks silvercar.

Money comes from either people following the adverts - you get paid a few cents per click through as it's called. Or from a percentage of any Amazon sales.

You don't click your own adverts as Google is intelligent enough to distinguish a real click from a false one.

There is a lot more to it unfortunately - writing is a small part. You need to create stuff that is high on the search engine results, that people will visit, and that will naturally lead onto them wanting to buy your product or research via the adverts.

Pastures is an expert. I am a wannabe.

Here in the Thames Estuary we are enjoying a blizzard. I'm not sure where the wind has come from as it was a lovely still crisp (-5) morning at dawn.

Peddled into local town (30 mins walk but normally 10 mins pedal call it 15 mins with 2mm of snow on the ground, since lunch time yesterday (Friday). Main objective was to plonk a bag full of Xmas cards into the Post Office before opening time & before the snow arrived.

Only one bike joined the cycle path into town from my direction BUT I'm always fascinated by the tracks in virgin snow, there have been 10 of us since yesterday (or is that 5 going in and back?).

I know the most dangerous thing on the road, at this time of year, is a motorist. Why do they think that cyclists can pedal in the gutter full of ice? Why do pedestrians think cyclists going past them are dangerous, as they try to conduct a mobile phone conversation, while walking in the bike path ?
How many pedestrians have been killed or hospitalised by cyclists each year?

The danger posed by a moving body is proportional to its mass and the square of its speed !

Came back at 09:00 hours, just as the great unwashed were starting to create Q's for the car parks.

Schadenfreude moment: I wonder if some of those manic shoppers in the "mall" have yet to notice the blizzard outside - hey ho perhaps I will peddle in on my 2x1 again to see how they are getting on, when the snow stops this evening.

(Borrow a tractor and offer tows to the main road for 10 GBP?)

    ================================================================================

Stop press: The A13 (Britain's answer to Route 66 ?) is closed Westbound and is crawling Eastbound - the sheltered side of the house has received 2" (50mm) in an hour and a half - worst/best snow storm I can remember in 35 years of living here.

It has now gone from flakes to grit and visibility has extended to about a mile with binoculars to spot flashing lights.

Believe me, there was nothing much that Photoshopping could do with that picture, though I kept it small, just in case! ;)
