Where as they have me, and my walking stick, as much older!

Maybe some of your posts reflect an 'older' image. :D

Today we dug a big hole. I'm not sure why. we were weeding and got bored so we started digging instead.

Have a good long weekend all

Is that what I have to look forward to? Years of digging big holes on bank holidays as entertainment? ''the more mature'' have more money, surely, to pay other people to dig big holes, or even to go out for entertainment? re the walking stick...I haven't had to use it for a while, so it is a bit soul destroying..hence need to make light of it, but I and lots of other ''disabled'' users don't automatically age because we need mobility aids.

Not even that much older than you. ;) But yeah.....you have an advantage having seen dh though! (I did actually just check with him how old we are, in case I'd got it wrong :o)

    You would be edging correctly.....
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I'm clearly a better listener than most as some seem to be fairly far out on people who have all but let us know their ages in the past.

I was waiting in for a parcel today (now that I no longer need to go to Tesco ever again) ad eventually the online tracking switched from 'on van' to delivered 10 minutes before so I had a quick look outside to check it hadn't just been left (unlikely as I am sitting in the front room and would have noticed) so went back to the original order and found that it had been delivered to my old house - the brilliant supplier system there had obviosuly managed to update my credit card address but not the delivery address - I wonder what the new owners will do with a box set of Roald Dahl stories that my DD6 (clue for the age thread?) has been looking forward to so much...
    I think....

I had birthday doom a couple of years ago and the NP were nice. I thus, HAVE let people know my age in the past! no all but a bout it. :) TBH, most of the time I don't think its a big deal.

I didn't announce my 50th, it passed without event or acknowledgement both online and offline; as did my 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th ... and I expect the rest.

I'm 62, but to be honest, I haven't felt much different since I was about 50.

Selling up and going into rented on the eve of my 60th bithday seemed a fun way to start the official 'retired' phase of my life, though being without work has turned-out to be pretty strenuous so far...:rotfl:
