Beautiful buildings, beautifully built, built on time and built on budgetNo reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Actually, I expect that most people are looking for reasonable building work and dead cheap, but I don't think DG is looking for that sort of work.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I made it up, but I expect someone else has thought of it - what does Mr Google say about that?
EDIT: Computer says No.
My first attempt was 'Your house in OUR hands', but I decided that was too scary.

Mr Google is clean
Everything I was thinking of was scary. Meant to be reassuring, but actually just scary.

It's not exactly rocket science to get a site like kent builder into the top page of google. All you have to do is follow a rather simple forumula:
1. Register an exact keyword domain... kentbuilder.co.uk
2. Make sure that the page is seo optomised, by including kent builder in the first text on the page... strapline: best builder in kent guaranteed!
3. Make sure you include photo with kent builder in the file name, and alt tags(hint: google bot does not know what the photo is of: the photo could be of a tree it would make no difference)
4. Make sure your text is readable, and contains roughly 3% - 6% the phrase kent builder... this should come naturally (Joe Blogs is one of the best kent builders, with 20 years experience of blah)
5. Make sure you sign up into google local, and register the business pointing to the domain.
Those are the basic steps.
Get smarter, write an article or five for a building website that allows you a follow link to your site, a few back links, and you will probably be at number one spot in a few weeks.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I've spent the entire day almost looking for somewhere else to move to. Starting at the cheapest and working my way all the way through and there's nothing. 100s of agents, all with haphazard websites, lacking in details. Spoke to two actual agents about actual places that "would do", one's got an application in and one's not even available until late April.
And they're all d4mned rude. One stopped me and said before I even told her what I want "Before you say anything: any kids, benefits, smokers or pets?" in a rude voice that indicated that if I'd said yes to any of those then they'd have nothing for me.
It's soul destroying. Too few properties per agent (many have just 3-4 each). Too scant details (often no details). They force you to contact them, for no reason as the property's let/not available and they can't do viewings for weeks anyway. What a bl00dy shower they all are.
There are places that'd "do" that I could afford, but these put me so far away from centres of employment that if I wanted/needed a job then I'd not be able to afford to travel to it. They're in the "very deprived" areas.
Also, 1-bed flat have serious issues, my pet hates are: avocado bathrooms, no bath, carpets, night storage heaters, no parking, communal entrances. I will be avoiding all these. I think 1-bed places attract the shabby/cheap landlords who buy some grot spot and put down horrid carpet just to get on the BTL ladder. There's no quality of life living in most of them.
And, as it's virtually impossible to actually view anything, I can't even make a shortlist of 6-8 places and set 2 days aside to see the lot and pick one. It's a painful experience trying to get one viewing (with a 40-50 mile round trip), never mind trying to see a bunch.
It never used to be like this.....0 -
Ah flat hunting... don't you love it. I particularly liked the occasion where someone told me they couldn't give me the address so I could drive by to check out the location... because I wouldn't like the location and would decide not to make an appointment. Thank you for that. If it is that crap, I'm not going to want to live there anyway am I?“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

If you can afford lovely places, then there's a huge choice. If you're going for the cheap seats then you're just treated like !!!!!! and kept guessing.0 -

I have loads of photos. Should I alt them all with keywords? Does it matter where in the site the keywords are or do I need to clutter up the front page with words?
I'm going insane here. How do I make the tagline appear on the header bar but not smack bang behind the typing that belongs to my theme? Getting to grips with making a website, not getting to grips with inserting random words at allEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
