It almost made it all worthwhile....
Ah, you need Generali's* helpful guide to stopping nagging.
If you annoy Mrs McT she'll nag.
If you really annoy Mrs McT she'll give you the silent treatment.
Surely it's worth putting in that little extra effort.

Hehe Hamish, that had me in fits of giggles......I even read it out to eldest son who also descended into fits of giggles (might have been helped by the way I read it with different voices - a throw back to when they were little and I was reading them bedtime stories)
GDB - Alas, the whole lot of them came with me!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Sorry to hear about your hand Sue, sounds as though it was painful before the pillowcase/dash to hospital/special cream. I hope it heals ok.
Did you know most astronauts are left-handed? Or at least the early Mercury and Apollo ones were anyway.
I didn't actually know that.....I am the only leftie in the family, both my brother and sister plus my parents and boys are right handed. My paternal grandmother was leftie however...again, the only one out of her parents, siblings and children. We made it! My eldest is the same, we've gone back 3 generations on both sides and "across" to most of the second cousins and cant find another leftie. And he is profoundly leftie, hand and foot, eating, shuffling cards all sorts of little oddities.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I wasn't sure which of the two scenarios upset me the most......
... a middle eastern doctor sawing through my Cartier wedding ring with a device that resembled an overgrown can opener.
I opted for the ring removal....
Much gold debris later ....
Aside from that, that'll teach you to go having posh rings n all.
Yuppy.
I can do the one-handed match lighting, with a box of matches, but never set fire to myself or anything else.0 -
Just gave the new table a polish and lit a candle on it. It needs a little work, the paint at the bottom is chipped but it looks amazing out there. Our dingy and frankly a little grubby feeling front hallway looks secret and vintage now. In the evening light at least. Makes me feel inspire to strip woodchip and sand stuff to paint. I might even see if we can get an offcut of carpet big enough to do till we can address flooring out there.....something scandalous. Grass green or bright pink may be0

I wish I was further down the refurb path at tifositowers. I'd send you my barbie-pink carpet from bedroom two in a shot. All in the name of helping out the nice people of course;). Thankfully its covered in things in storage at the moment, so I can only see about 1 sq m of it where the door opens. It's still shocking though, butting up against my orange hall carpet with only a brass carpet bar to stop me from going truly mad at the colours here. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
