You are. Making things is the way forward.

Mind you, you're sitting pretty where you are, just look around you and see where you can bring in income from your space, facilities .... and growing/selling things. It's all about learning how to present stuff to "ladies who lunch", those posh birds that'll only pay over the odds for stuff, but they do it because they have to show off how much they spent on tat. There's still enough of them out there.

And notice those feet, I thought they were sterling silver, but they're not - they're just silver paper wrapped wire!!!

I've had a letter from Anne Diamond trading as one of those send us your gold companies.

The letter even has her signature on (printed of course).

In the letter, she announces that she sent them some of her gold to sell. She says she needed a new washing machine, & found this to be the best way.

How the mighty have fallen eh? She's come a long way down to resort to selling off the family [STRIKE]silver[/STRIKE] gold hasn't she?
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Emailing them does work, you get a response within 48 hours.

Can confirm that I emailed a utility company to tell them that I was exceptionally disappointed with the service on their website and that I wanted someone to phone me asap or I would change companies.

Two days later and I've had an email back telling me how to register for a 'callback'. That being the callback I couldn't request on Monday because my records were being updated because I had the gall to give them a meter reading.

And then immediately afterwards I got another real person email telling me my meter readings don't make sense. Perhaps if they had enough common sense to not give me a free text box for readings so that I could work out for myself that it needed a zero in front of one of them, or just employ people with enough common sense to work that out themselves.

So I spent about half an hour faffing around on Monday for me to have to do it all again. Brilliant.

    Rant over!

Saw these and thought of you earthy types. Ladies who lunch produce all manner of stuff for posh people :)

    Here's today's find: http://www.wellyracks.com/

£38 for a few sticks of wood and a slap of paint.

Genius. (Hope you're reading Dave..... you could do this)

Personally, I'd prefer to see them done in metal .... with the USP that you can hang the boots up there and hose them off... then an image of the rack alongside an outside tap/hose.
