Nah, I got that, I was responding to vivatifosi, but three people decided to post before I did.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I love the name ''Mary Doll''.
My Ma, my Da called her Mary doll. It's a common name. Mother of God an' all.......
It is all about the children. The adults are rarely filmed.

I had noticed it was mainly the kids....but wasn't sure if you were talking about the show, or the hospital waiting rooms and drunks.
Mother of God anD all. That's lovely. Thanks for the explanation of that.0 -
You need to do the research before the "sick in the middle of the night".
You want to know (a) the nearest A&E with a separate paediatric casualty dept and (b) the phone number of an out of hours private GP.
In our area you can also call the surgery and sometimes be directed to a different surgery who are providing out of hours cover for a group of GPs, though I'm not sure if this is nationwide. Then you can phone this up and, depending where the out of hours cover at the time is situated, decide to go to it or back to option (b).
Another option is to ring round casualty departments and ask them how long the wait would be for a child with XX symptons.
After messing about with the out of hours service here...and almost losing youngest son because of it twice, I have now been told to ring the PAU directly and get him there PDQ instead of peeing about. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I have only ever been to a traveller site with my Da. He loved them.
Looking back I think he missed the life.
He used to take me round the sites when I was little.
Dressmaker Thelma better be well paid by channel 4 because she has lost her living.
Am I rattling on too much?Retail is the only therapy that works0
