Without a sufficient ratio of windshield washer fluid to water in many car, come cold winter weather, the hoses, especially the one routed to the rear windscreen washer, can split with the frozen liquid, and when the weather turns milder the hose leaks water. Read loads of car forum threads of that occuring, and the water causing damage such as seizing up the rear windscreen wiper motor.

If that happens, it'll be going in nd demanding a free replacement. Car is less than a month old!

Might only be #99 if your little [STRIKE]stalker[/STRIKE] friend Silvercar2 gets PPR'd :D

The thought also crossed my mind that I may have acquired a troll.

It's a sign that you've made it in these parts;).

CarolT got some connection to Arcadia?!

I know who you are talking about really ;)

I have to say I am not entirely against this protest, as discussed elsewhere there is much more vitriol reserved for benefits abusers than tax evaders somehow.
I've absolutely no idea what it's all about and didn't even know it was going on.... but there were some photos I looked at in another thread. Didn't connect things together.

Just saw this and made a connection: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11918873

"She who is missing" will be hit by this directly.
    I think....

Thanks for the scooter idea PN, might look into that. Tempted to buy an old banger as a runaround but my green conscience feels betrayed. Ah well.

Hope everyone has a lovely saturday evening, it's been raining so all the snow is gone here.

If you buy an "old banger" with a reasonable plate on it (say 50ish), a small enough engine to be efficient and large enough not to be on its last legs because it can't cope, not too high mileage, then you can assuage your guilt because the green impact of manufacturing has already been taken on by someone else.

Funnily enough, the first three of those were exactly what I was thinking of. I can't say that about the Charade because I have no idea what one is:o.

ETA: I meant 05, not 50, I'm a bit dyslexic this morning, sorry...

    05 isn't an old banger!!

I just traded in my "Y", year before the 50, for an 06.

Daihatsu are very reliable, and even that man Clarkson likes the current one. :)
