Things have to be fitted on really, then I need several mirrors and have to look from a long distance into a mirror to see what I think.0 -
I try not to know what I look like in clothes these days. If it makes me legal its done all it can0

I listened to an interview with this autistic person last year:
http://www.grandin.com/inc/mind.web.browser.html
Unfortunately now that the BBC management are responsible for paying for and running the World Service, the "housekeeping" seems to be done more often so the old programmes are no longer hidden somewhere on a chaotic web site .
There is a brief reference in the pick of the year programme:

I didn't hear this but Temple Grandin is one of my heroines. She has done SO much for animal welfare. I think I've suggested Sue and PN read her stuff: a very high functioning person with autism.0 -

For footwear, it's a pair of fake crocs that somebody gave to somebody else, who gave them to me. I did comb my hair this morning, but I didn't look in the mirror as I know where my head is.
earlier...jeans, yard boots, grey jumper, mauve yard coat. Now, pink vest, yellow knickers (I don't even match underwear today), blanket.:o:o0 -

OK....underwear neurosis..
I like nude coloured bras because they go under anything and I don't keep load because of weight fluctuations so size changes. when I buy a bra I buy two pairs of what ever knickers I like that match it, (I'll wear a bra for two days before washing it with no sense of stinking). I also wear vests a lot, so I buy kniker/vest sets. So My knickers can match my vest wihout matching my nude bra and I'm still ''comfortable''. Other bras I always buy two pairs of knickers.
Mismatched days of vests and knickers than have out lasted their partners are for bad days.0
