i have a son on middle rate dla we recieve all the stuff that goes with it and my husband works, so we get working tax credit

No because you get working tax credits you don't get the other qualifying benefit that's required for a CWP.sorry im confused by it all

Because ib is a contribution based benefit so is state pension and you can have unlimited capital and still get them cwps are aimed at ppl who are on certain means tesred benefits who cant have unlimeted capitalSo you get IB with a IS top up. IB isn't paid as IS.

How does it work if my daughter who lives with me gets carer allowance and a top up of IS and has a new baby, will she get the cold weather payment in her own right?
