Got to get me mum a sealed tin she thinks its a brill idea. she as always been a gd saver unlike me!!! hubby thinkin about givin up smokin n puttin his money in a tin but if he thinks i,m givin him £25 pound to put in his tin he's very much mistaken!!! That will go back into my weekly budget haha. Daughther beggin him not to go cold turkey but cut down slowly. I shall not be holdin me breath, this is something we been through more time than i can remember. It would b great if he did pack up but hey ho time will tell
If Dh packs in smoking it's a good idea to put the money away, maybe not on a sealed pot . When I stopped smoking a long time ago I saved up all the money and any other I got for birthdays and after 2years i payed cash for my first car a fiesta 3 yrs old. Just sumthing to think about. The money would be spent anyway.Sealed pot (2010) no: 878 £719.60 :jCompleted

ooooh tinkertaylor.....I can almost smell the bread - cakes too. I'd accept your kind offer to visit for tea
but we always have roast at Sunday tea time. Another time.
I wonder what you'd have done with the money your Mum owed before joining us??? It makes us all think twice and save far more. Good for you and good planning with the baking.
Sunday roast is a must in our's too .... apparently on the rare occassion we didn't have one as a child I would cry lol I always have loved my food, hence the cakes! You are most welcome if passing Manchester to pop in for cake
I really haven't a clue what I have done with my money in the past! 6 months ago I would've bought 20 Silk Cut2011 I am going to get on the grocery challenge and see if I can beat my Tesco addiction!

The magical washing machine has provided again another shiney 20p for my bottle. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hubby has just got home; he had budgeted £20 to spend today on an event, but didn't spend a penny as refreshments were all free, so he's given me the £20 to put in the sealed pot. He's great he is, my best friend as well as my hubby!
