BTW moremoneythansense pleasedon't usecoin stars machines as they don't do it without making a profit! Take it to banks/building societies/local shops and make sure you get all you save. Well done on your DH's win and save hard for that cruise....oooh what a blissful thought. :j
Hi Sue
I've Previously been using one of those coinstar machines in Morrisons. I think it charged 8p for every £1 you put in. But recently I've started to ask the bank for some of those little money bags..just filling them up with same coins (cheekily not even bothering to count) hand them over when they look full "Oh you've only got 78p in that one!""Goodness me, how did that happen"
I did kind of feel guilty whenever using the coinstars too as there's always that option of choosing 'Donate to Charity' which you don't want to see if you can't afford to
Hope you're ok, pop back soon :wave:Sealed Pot Challenge 15 #78

:hello: Sorry I've been missing for a little while but things have been a bit manic and spare funds have been in very short supply. However have managed about £4 over this weekend.
How's things going with your fat club Footie - sorry haven't been able to keep up with posts. Hoping you've had more success than me as I had a gain last week - I did see something about cheesecakes mentioned in previous posts - tell me you didn't did you- couldn't be like you - I got attacked this afternoon by rhubarb pie and custard
. Had session at gym this morning though - trying to get fit for Race for Life in a couple of weeks - may be too little too late methinks
Enjoy what's left of weekend everyoneSPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
Hello everyone
TheBees haven't been on here for a while due to me having my appendix out a couple weeks ago!! I'm absolutely fine now and back to work tomorrow.
Small amounts of money have been going into the various collections. But today I've superglued the whisky jar lid on as someone has been "borrowing" from it. I was trying to put at least 1 £1 coin in each week so by the end of the year I'd have £52 so I could tell that some had gone "missing",:mad:Mortgage Free in 3 part 2 challenge - pay off £9000
