  • TGI Friday all! I added another £10 today.

I was thinking about it earlier - this time last year I wouldn't have dreamed that I'd be credit card free, and actually saving up for Christmas instead of panicking at the beginning of December that I'm skint. And I have MSE to thank for that :D Three cheers for MSE!

    Afternoon All!

Well, as i have taken MSE'ing to my heart, I have been trying really hard not to spend. So thats good.... but it leaves me with no change to put into my pot..... so that's bad!

Decided that I would keep any change I have for a copuple of weeks and add to the pot all at once. Added it last night over £11, so was quite excited then!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

It'll be a real pleasure to have you with us, unoriginal_uk. A warm welcome aboard and have fun saving. :D You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how the challenge works. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much. NB. Pots are emptied on 1st December 2011, thank you.

unoriginal_uk, Good for you in having a great start.

Thank you kindly H_Pam, Cazzie & I will soon be knocking at your door! ;)

Afternoon sparky, well done on the work front and good for you with the £5er!!!! You're pretty near raking it in left, right and centre at the mo..and definately getting the lion's share (ours too) with roadkill. :(;)

Congratulations phoenix_dragon!!! :T Isn't it great to be free of debt at last, DH & I hated it, but soon shook ourselves free due to sheer determinatin and scrimping, but oh..does it pay off!! :D Three cheers for MSE indeed and happy saving PD! :j

Excellent news scrappie!!! I can well understand about the limited spends and if Martin were to give you his advice I know it would be "to get yourself free of debt first and foremost." :money: However, if you can afford to do it as you've explained then at least you're doing both! You have a lovely weeked too. :)

£3.76 in the pot for me today, didn't expect anymore after shopping on Wednesday, but DH was out with our pup this morning and came back with a WET foot and a gert split in his wellies...hubby not Jessie. :rotfl: So we had to pop to town to get him a new pair.

Have yourselves a great weekend everyone and well done with the saving..no matter how little - it all adds up! ;)

Sue x Anyone wishing to join, just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.

The work change tin is full again so am about to empty and bag up what I can from it in vague hopes of getting it to the bank tomorrow morning.
