  • Still putting in all shrapnel and any roadkill I find. Got a lovely, freshly washed 2 pound coin and a 1 pound coin, from doing my big daft boy's laundry the other day!! I will never understand how he can put a wash on and not shake out the money before it goes in the machine - but it's all good really, cos he never takes it out - and that's where mum steps in to profit!!

    Morning everyone
27p tea room change yesterday, when I came into work this morning there was another 9p tea room change on the floor by the vending machine, so Sparky's 36p in profit YAY. I've got a £20 note in my wallet, soif it's still there by Thursday I'll be popping that into my pot.

Hope everyone's keeping well, have a great day, stay safe and keep saving

  • Have just emptied my shopping budget purse as I start a new month today 89p in jar, plus I just tipped whatever was in my other purse in to the jar not sure how much went in but was a good sound.
  • Morning, I've been quite busy the last week, painting my son's room, now emptying the kitchen, the council are coming round to fit and upgrade the it, can't wait.

I actually managed to find some roadkill while shopping yesterday a whopping 2p :j

Loads of change went in the tin last week, I've stopped counting now so it will be a nice surprise at the end of the year.

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone, not been on for a while as i've been feeling quite poorly and im suffering alot withpain in my wrists, still been popping money in my tin though but have stopped counting it so no idea whats in there. On a positive note i cant lift the tin anymore and when hubby kindly held it under the lights in the kitchen last week i could see it was well over half full so am hoping i might need a new tin in a few months time :D
