  • Evening all

Managed to get 2 loads of washing dry on the line today, so no drying trip to the launderama for me tomorrow; £1.40 saved for my pot which has pleased me.

Have been managing to stay within the food budget (just!) with the small surplus going into the pot too. Using a separate purse for the groceries is really helping to curb my spending as before I used to stick it all on the debit card. I am trying so hard with this, but its a toughie.

Have not replaced my car since my accident last month; I am still managing to keep to the combo of the bus & walking for work & using OH's car when absolutely necessary. His car is quite pricey to run though, so we are thinking seriously of trading his in against a smaller more economical one which we will share. One lot of road tax, insurance, etc, will hopefully save us a good few quid. The last month has proved we really don't need 2 cars, especially as OH's work is really close by.

I have not added much to my pot this week as I have been trying really hard not to spend anything, hence no change. Have a hospital appointment tomorrow, so will put change from parking in.

    Enjoy your evening

I've just stuck a twenty pound note in my pot, I realised hubby had been using my debit card to purchase stuff via itunes (I don't use it) so I made him give me what he owes me and a little bit extra for compensation.

I was hoping to get some ebay listings done due to the free listing weeked but our family pet died suddenly yesterday and I just don't feel motivated to do it. My little girl is heartbroken so we've had a day full of cuddles. Tomorrow is another day so hopefully I'll find the time and the energy then to get listing x

Sorry to hear about your pet daisy. Hope today was a better day for you all, especially your little girl. x

The absolute best Little Johnnie joke

Little Johnnie's neighbour had a baby.
Unfortunately, the baby was born without ears.

    Show%5Cimage00111112.jpg

When mother and new baby came home from the hospital, Johnnie's family was invited over to see the baby.

Before they left their house, Little Johnnie's dad had a talk with him and explained that the baby had no ears.

His dad also told him that if he so much mentioned anything about the baby's missing ears or even said the word ears, hewould get the smacking of his life when they came back home.
Little Johnnie told his dad he understood completely.

When Johnnie looked in the crib he said, 'What a beautiful baby.'
The mother said, 'Why, thank you, Johnnie.

Johnnie said, 'He has beautiful little feet and beautiful littlehands, a cute little nose and really beautiful eyes. Can he see alright?'

'Yes', the mother replied, 'we are so thankful; the Doctor said he will have 20/20 vision.'

'That's great', said Little Johnnie,'coz he'd be bug*ered if he ever needed glasses'.

  • Hi Everyone

I do hope you have all enjoyed the weekend even if the weather has been a little dodgy. Work all done for four days. My visit to family was cancelled but has been rearranged for another week.;)

Yesterday was the first day I had missed since I started SPC :( but I didn't forget to pot £5 in £1 coins for Rosie yesterday. Courtesy of officiating a netball match. Kept some back and bought some lotto..you never know. I haven't checked my tickets yet. £1.50 in coppers and silver today. So not bad at all. I have £6 in £2 coins hidden away in my purse at the moment. I may just start another pot for these. I seem to be getting a few at the moment. :D

I was so tired yesterday, hence my reason for missing a day. I know it doesn't matter as long as I pot but I do enjoy coming to catch upwith everyones adventures....hmmmmm I wonder who I am talking about. One name in particular springs to mind..guess who!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Off now for four days yippee. Lots to do. Fat club tomorrow more pennies for the pot but not so sure about the weight though :(

Well thats all Potters. Have a good day tomorrow. Stay safe and keep smiling. xx :D;)
