Morning Everyone

Just sent DH to the shops he had 5 things to get came back with 7 and forgot 3 that was on the list. So I got 2 things I wanted and 5 things I didn't his excuse well thought you would like a treat !! No I didn't want a treat and anyway it was me paying!!!

Next time go myself. So now need to go shopping still at least I have some change for the pot.

hi,

found 2x1p on floor yesterday, so have gone in bowl ready for kids count up tomorrow. my sister gave me £4 yesterday for going to get her perfume, so it will be going in pot as a £5 note lqter as i had to use it for my tea last night (oops).

I was on the way to work today thinking about the plan for the sealed pot and the sacrifices i was going to make.


I see the sealed pot as a physical respresentation of the money i can save with a little effort unlike the money on my internet banking which just seems unreal to me. If i can see something grow, then i'll be more likely to keep it going.

• Ditching the daily Starbucks - £2 a day
• £3 allowance for lunch. Take sandwiches to work = £3 in the pot.
• Keep weekly food expenditure below £50. Any difference, goes in the pot
• Ebay sales - go in the pot
• Any lottery wins, go in the pot. I've won a few £10's of late which is a nice change.

Are there any other suggestions that i haven't thought of?

Hi All - please can I be added on the list - a little late to start but we have a change pot so I am going to seal it tonight and we will have to carry on as we are instead of raiding it every now and again.

Going to lift all the sofa cushions tonight to see if there is any extra change lurking anywhere to add to our pot!

Hi,

I went out yesterday for the day and was dissapointed to find No roadkill, but have managed to pot another 85p from the small change I collected. Used the credit card mainly, so not a lot for the pot I'm afraid, but still, it all adds up.
