I have to share this with the group though...I had to go back to the drawing board today, with the 'grand design' :whistle:. There was a little accident today , it involved me, the pot, a balloon, and paper mache ...it blew up on me didn't it :rotfl:, right when I was in front of it and it was covered in gloopy paper mache. I swear some shot past my face, it was everywhere (even on the fridge) :eek::eek::D. I've never heard the wife laugh like that before ....

Absolutely every little bit helps. If I only manage to save a £1 a day till 1st Dec it will be nigh on £340 so your just over that with todays pot..Keep potting.;);):D

Thank you too luckycharlie and footiemad . I could be deeply scarred :eek:, psycholigically damaged - never able to look at paper mache in the same way again :eek::D. And all you can do is laugh ***takes a mock huff and crosses his arms*** :rotfl::rotfl::D
I notice sparky and Sue U-U haven't said anything yet, however, I'm preparing myself to be mocked :rotfl::rotfl::p.
0nly a lonely pair of 50ps today...but it's still £1 for the temporary pot ....Hurray...maybe I'll have more luck tomorrow.

Only a handful of change for me today, courtesy of my lovely DH! He's already started stacking his loose change next to piggy, ready to pot

I almost wet myself laughing at the 'papier mache' incident nu1isit?, ah you couldn't make it up could you!!Who'd have thought wet paper and glue could be so dangerous? Someone inform RoSPA quick :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh, come on, nu1isit?, would either sparky or I ever mock anyone? :silenced: I noticed your dilemma yesterday, then forgot all about it - which doesn't say much for me, but there you go.;) I'm trying to think what the devil you could've done to make the shoe explode though....Cinderella's tootsies too big maybe?? OK, oops, I've updated your Target and I'm really hoping you'll fulfil your dream and exceed it, I certainly try to with mine each year..and so far have been lucky in doing so. It's so good to see our really early members returning, so you come on as often as you wish oops, it really is lovely to see that name appear.

A bit of shopping this morning netted me a whole £9.21, really happy with that, though first for a week or more.
