Used some Christmas money to buy two sealed pots, one for me and for my husband. Christened mine with £1.50 and my husband has taken his back up with him for during the week.

We have a separate pot for coppers and five pence pieces, which is coming along very well. Raided my husbands wallet for coppers when he came back for the weekend. All good :j

Found the ploblem if I go on my iPad it's all wrong and if I go on my lap top it's all ok must be the setting on iPad.(bought the iPad with the all penny's that I saved last year :smiley)

Why is no one ever giving any £2 coins as change anymore?!!? LOL - Nothing added to my pot as nothing received as change!

Oh dear. I had to raid my pot. I cut the sellotape off andtook out about £25. It was an emergency but I feel bad about it. Will reseal and set to again!

I've been keeping at it with my £1 per day which I think has been quite easy. Went clothes shopping on Friday and paid for everything with notes. My purse was almost bursting at the seams when I came home from all the change so that all went in. Not sure how much it was but there were 2 or 3 £2 coins and at least £10 worth of £1 so it's going well!:j:j

Hi Guys.

Following a really successful weekend in my new additional earning and saving trend...I made nearly £600 last week and should make about £250 this week:j...so, yesterday, my secret sealed pot that the family know nothing about received...£40 !!!:D

I can't wait till xmas to surprise them.If this success continues I might take them all on a ski holiday for Xmas!!..:j..now that would be great!!...I can dream I suppose ( but dreams do have a habit of coming true) !
