£1 into my 50p's tin and £1.70 into my Sealed Pot0

I've had great fun this afternoon - started making a papier mache box for the challenge!
I'll have to do a bit of assembly tomorrow and then hopefully can decorate and use it Sunday
I also earned an additional £25 this evening, which I will put in - I occasionally do nails for a few friends and old clients from when I was trained during my student days. I've decided that all of these earnings will go into the pot, along with anything spare of my grocery budget each month. I love a challenge like this but this excitement has a tendency to wane quite quickly, so the real challenge will be keeping focus!
Have a good night all.

Hi hismummy, thanks for letting me know, I like it a lot. I might even get one for myself for notes in the bedroom. Thanks again.
Well done Billie-jo, I just love your attitude with the banks, that really gave me a giggle; it's so very true though...having your cake and eating would be their motto..but not ours!!!
A great start, LC, ....and that Total is amazing!!! :T:T You haven't put it on SPC 3 for sparky to put into the spreadsheet though. Could you please kindly do that for him, me too? (picture a begging soul here, yep, me! :A) Thanks LC, you're a gem!
Brilliant flying_fresian!
Oh Helen, you sound as though you've really had fun making your papier mache box .....happy as a pig in [STRIKE]shi.[/STRIKE] err muck comes to mind.Well done on a very profitable evening's work too, it's amazing how we make money when thinking about needing it! :T Don't worry about keeping focus, so long as you come on here fairly regularly it'll really help you to focus...don't forget!
It sounds like another very cold night, especially in areas freezing after the rain - take great care everyone - please.

May I join please? I have a large glass jar that I plan to decorate and seal. Have already put a few coins in.
I think I'll aim for £400 by the deadline next year - that would be a terrific boost for my Christmas spending.
Thanks for the great idea and the great lively friendly thread.0 -

Evening Sue, can't believe how busy the thread is already! Looks like they found us after all...
One horrendously long shift down one to go next weekend. Roll on Jan 1st and payday (although I don't actually know when I'll be paid since Jan 1st is a BH...)
But a nice little pocket of change to pop in my work tin this evening, had a quick look through the lid and its about 1/3 full so shouldn't be too long until I'm recording my first SPC4 deposit. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

About £3 gone in the pot today so off to a good start for challenge #4
Think the cashiers at the bank were a bit miffed when I walked in about 15 minutes before closing time with a carrier bag of full money bags. Oh well if they want your money they should be happy to get it no matter what time it is and as for this 'we only except 5 bags at a time '!!!! My reply is always 'Well if you dont want it I can always shut my account and take it somewhere else'
 Hello to all the new people who are joining - hope you all do well.
Morning Billie-jo
Is the amount in your signature your declared total for SPC3? I don't remember seeing it posted hun
