Just 10p for me today, found on the floor at home. It was probably DS's but if its on the floor it goes into the pig! NSD for me so no change today, but I like to keep the piggy fed, if only a little morsel!

A warm welcome to the thread foxy78, savykate, dollybeads, Azkaban, curiouscrafter, tazmac25 and soxxxxy. Good to have you with us, have fun saving. :D You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much. NB. Pots are emptied on 1st December 2011, thank you.

dollybeads, you've done everything perfectly, but even if you hadn't it wouldn't have mattered.:)

Azkaban, well done on finally making it here! All the best!

Thank you for your very kind words, kirsty822001!, they're very much appreciated. Just wait until Christmas to see the envy of your relatives, but as you say, you can't help them all, but you can help yourself ;) - congratulations on doing just that!! BTW, is it possible to run water into your pot, swirl it around to wash coke off of the money then drain it out??

A good buy that pie, jammy!!

A lovely thought about the pot got your friend, pjjjx.

Sue It's home made spag bol, done with turkey mince, it's the only way my DW will eat it as she doesn't eat red meat or pork and the recipe for the tom sauce is my own too ;)

Ah but it's tomato sauce that I can't stomach, sparky, otherwise with Turkey..mmm. Another day - pudding too! No, I didn't mean LC 2, but eatable pudding! :rotfl:

Hi LC2 Jam sponge and custard sounds lovely, I thought you were on a health kick in your house :rotfl::rotfl:

LC 2's hubby is - Ruby, but not LC 2 herself ...that's why she always put these :rotfl:on her posts!! Well done on making yours from scratch and saving by freezing some to!

Hi SUE OMG He's going to be the next Jamie Oliver!! Remember we knew him when he was a young lad :rotfl::rotfl:We will be able to sell our stories and put the money in our pots:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

By heck LC 2, :eek:we'll be raking it in, though if we keep getting more members here as we do now I'll need to hire Jamie Oliver to run the thread!! :j How about that for a change of job!!! Keep at it sparky, you naked chef you!  I hope you wear an apron!

As you point out Dreamer - jam is fruit (with sugar) - it's the pudding that ain't!!! :p

loveGSDs, I take mine to the local PO/ shop they're glad of it at Christmas. If not then bag them up in the correct amounts and take them to the banks. If you're not happy taking the lot at once, then do so over 2 or 3 days - or 2 or 3 banks!!! :D

Good for you, Caz and that security you're saving for is worth so much! :)

You're welcome, Sunflower1227 and thanks for the PM. You're doing the challenge in a perfect way! No need to update signature, keep it as a surprise!

You'll go far, Silver, I love the idea of them cuddling together! Am I bonkers or you??

Great news about your CC, LC!!!! Time for a splurge then I suppose!! Sorry, couldn't resist. :rotfl:

It's ok, sweet, you're getting slightly bonkers like the rest of us! :(

A great start, Gooner_Jimmy, but you don't need to keep a running total.

    Great for your DW, nu1isit?!!!

...and well done to finish the day hismummy.

Although...a little more as I fed my pot £5.53 after shopping today..then took the trolley back to the furthest park, pocketed the £1, came out and got 5p roadkill!!!

roadkill to the uninitiated is the term given for money found on the streets/pavements or similar.

Onward for another good day everyone. Have a lovely one and - keep safe!

a few weeks ago my granny found a £20 note on the ground in town - I think having a bad hip and walking slow clearly has its advantages as the rest of my family (and maybe 100 other people - was a local event on) had walked past it!!

    Morning everyone
Humph, Jamie Oliver indeed! More like the Galloping Gourmet :rotfl:. Now he was the original telly chef (after Fanny Craddock of course!) :D

1p road change in the turnstyle on the way into work for me this morning, also I'll be popping my usual £2 into the pot this afternoon, I'm hoping the pools man will bring some £2 coins in this morning, as my Summer 2011 pot has been neglected this last week. :)

Have a great day, stay safe and keep saving :D

Put £3 in yesterday and £2 in kids piggy bank was feeling flush because I found £43 in a purse I forgot I took out at new year must have been too drunk to remember! So that was a nice boost but it's going towered my dreaded gas bill this month as heating was never off over Xmas!
