Pools man done me proud this morning, 4 X £2 coins & 4 X 50p coins for the Summer 2011 fund tin.

I think I'm going to stop keeping a running total now I've got into the habit of dropping change in there, and wait for a nice surprise at the end of the year.

Still feeling rough today, I managed a bit of sleep last night inbetween the coughing.

£1.20 for my tin today and 50p for son's.

Morning sparky. Fanny Craddock?!! You've heard about here and whatsisname - John or Johnny?? Trust you to sniff out a 1p..I thought it was fantastic with my 5p yesterday still can't believe it, twas getting dark too!

The way you collect roadkill makes me wonder if you take a ruddy metal detector with you wherever you go! Either that or you have magnets on your shoes - ere there's a thought ....anyone know for a good cobbler????!! :huh:

I hope you're soon feeling a LOT better, Diane, it certainly hangs around. My little GS has his 2nd virus in 3 weeks, he's so poorly, even delirious, poor little treasure.

Another 70p or so in the tin for me yesterday from spare change found around the house. We're getting some grocery shopping tonight so hopefully will have some change left to put in the pot!

It was dark when I spotted the 1p this morning, I just seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to change on the floor. I'm off to Mr M's later so I'll look for more, just to annoy the life out of LC2, I'll also look out for her poor Hubby, maybe buy him a pie or two :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good Morning All,

Have no money to add to the pot yet today, but I am going to have a rummage in the car later as I am sure there is some loose change....I did get some money today as it is my birthday :j but I am not going to add it to the pot (sorry!)

I am being treated out for tea later by my OH (what a lovely guy, we have only been together nearly 9 months, but he is the best thing that's happened for a very long time )

Anyway back to work, least I have tomorrow off.
