Helloooo fellow sealed pot potters!! Put £2.57 in today ....one £2 coin which I have hung on to for dear life as a challenge to see how long I could last and not spend it. So pleased with myself, normally it would be gone gone gone. :j £12.10 in a week not bad for a novice potter.

One more day off before work and then the hunt will be on for some roadkill/workkill. Must check my drawer to see if there is anything lurking there.

A pathetic 5p found from Dh's pocket... Really must re-think my strategy as there are only so many times I can expect to find owt scrounging off DH- especially when I never give him money :rotfl:

5p for me too lol was a NSD but found this upstairs when I went to lock away some cash into my safe - felt like it had been strategically placed there!

Is it really sad to say I was thrilled to find about 60p in one of my drawers whilst having a sort out in the front room this evening? :o It's going straight into my jar!

  • Can I join please :D

I have a tin at the ready that we started a couple of years ago and failed miserably with.

Will empty my purse tonight, which will also help my diet as I won't have any change for the vending machine at work :rotfl:

I put about £3 into my pots today, and my pot for 50 pence pieces has inadvertantly become a Sealed Pot for the moment as I can't find the key for the sodding thing :o :rotfl:
  • Good evening Sue, could you please add me to the challenge? This saving is addictive! ;) x

I'd like to join the challenge please.
I was looking at some sealed tin cans the other day for £2.50. I didn't get one because I thought I should be saving the £2.50! But after reading your posts I think maybe it's money well spent. I know if I just used a coffee jar or something, I'd be opening it up in no time!
