    Hello, been watching your thread from time to time and would like to join you for number 4 challenge.

    I plan to only put the pennies (1, 2, 5) coins that are being abandonned in the bottom of the purse etc.. and see next dec what it will amount to.

    Another 2 X £2 coins in my change this morning for the Summer 2011 fund, 1p road change and about 50p in slummy for my pot when I get home

    can i join in please? will be the motivation i need to save this year, some will go into a sealed tin and some will go in a bank account, my OH is based in cyprus with his job so hoping e can get some good savings together, other than 2 flights home next year hopefully we will be able to save quite alot. would really like to be able to put the equivalent of a years wages away but we will see, seems when we try and save something comes up but hopefully this will work for us next year.
    back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:

    just found 37p on the bookcase whilst tidying, obv whoever it belonged to didnt want it so into my pot its gone :D teach the family not to leave money laying around :D:D:D

    well my pot is going great up to now.. found loads of roadkill near the shop earlier.. all in the pot.. along with i would say £10ers worth of change easy from a bag of change i forgot about in my bedroom drawer lol
