Hi Jackies, all the best with your challenge. Re things that people save for; have a look down the member lists on posts 1, 2, & 3, that'll give you some idea.


Now then muchowing - NO! You're not allowed to count money in one challenge only to count it AGAIN :eek: in the next!!!! This is MSE not cbeebies!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and we don't do such things.

Ok....Sealed Pot Member 304 back again. Didn't do well this year & had to dip into my pot in the early part of 2010!! Am definately starting again now though......but am not going to set myself a target - whatever I can save before next Christmas will help!!:money:

Just need to sort out a pot...........;)

Errrmmm, excuse me ladies... you should both know better than money laundering or whatever. Money is counted once ....and hopefully you're both aware that a naughty bench is already in the naughty room (think prison cell) is prepared and NO nobody will be handing in any biscuits or chocolates, unlike rumours that may have been on the 2nd & 3rd challenges. I'm always on the lookout - be warned! :idea:

went on a loose change hunt round the house and have a nice pile to put into my sealed pot when OH finishes painting living room as I am recycling the old paint pot (washed out of course) as my sealed pot.

Just made a sign for everyone to keep their mits off my pile of money I found!

I love the paint pot 'pot'! It'll be interesting to see what it holds come next December 1st.

6 pages on the first day! wow.
Have not sealed up my jars yet but have started as I hope to go on. I really want to be better than this years one

Hi Pammy, we really have clocked up some pages, though I think it was roughly the same the last couple of years too. A first flourish if you like. It's good to see people really wanting to save.
