And can you remember that far more people watch sport than go to church? Sport is real, religion is make believe.
I don't know if it's true or not, but not too long ago I heard it stated that more people go to Ikea on a Sunday than go to church, but judging from the queue to get in the carpark, I could well believe it.0 -
You're probably right there shaun, I hate shopping but even Ikea would be preferable to church.0

If we lose the bid due to Birmingham Citys hooligans last night then everyone should call for that club to be banned from football and disbanded completely.0

Sky News made me laugh last night. After showing the pitch invasion numerous times the commentators were saying: "These live pictures will be beamed around the world and possibly seen by members of FIFA, which could ruin England's bid to host the World Cup in 2018"
Firstly, it was a two-bit Brummie cup tie, which was of absolutely no interest to anyone outside England, I doubt that anyone else in the world was watching.
Secondly, if Sky were so bothered about our World Cup bid being scuppered, why didn't they just stop showing the broadcast?
God, I hate Rupert Murdoch
(No disrespect to the lovely Brummies by the way
