Praise for David Beckham

I really do think his influence may swing it for the UK to host the World Cup.

He has really matured into an Ambassador kind of roll. The guy is a living legend to a lot of kid's and quite basically he is a damn good roll model for youngster's. No drink or drug's, no women apart from his wife. Some have tried though, for money !

I can see him getting a Knighthood in the future.

Who can forget this too?

Yeah, good luck to him.

The UK isn't bidding to hold the World Cup, England is.

Sod him & his missus. They could host the thing in their back garden and still have change left over.

So therefore the fact that he is taking the time to give something back is even more impressive.

Your response would indicate that he would make a better ambassador and role model than you would... Or indeed you would if you were as rich as he is...

I am all for us having the WC in England, but you appear to have a short memory!

I agree, but if we get to host the WC it should be very good for the economy, so a win win situation.
    Gone ... or have I?
