Lily the legend= I'm so jealous I love Italy been a few times but the last time was 10 years ago.
Infact that was the last time I went abroad:eek:, one day.

I can't to start this challenge really need to apply myself, i'm a frugal at heart and will always try to save money when buying things etc but I have slipped up big time this last few months and cc I run up now a few years ago never seem to go down:mad:

It's just occurred to me that I only have two paydays before the trip! I'll need to have a very frugal January!

Perhaps with the money you save you can put it towards paying off your credit card first?

I might head to the library when I have time and get a language book. :)

Can I please join for 2011?

I did actually join last year, but only got as far as April before I fell off the wagon.
Hoping to try again for the coming year as need to do something have managed to build up credit card yet again!
Thinking of downsizing to one car managed this earlier in year for 4 months while DH was waiting for his company car got bus to work which is £15 per week but easily put £25 in diesel now, I was much more disciplined in shopping made do a lot more and lost weight with extra walking (think i have talked myself into this one)

I'll come back with a budget figure as soon as it's done.
Lily_The_Legend That's great news about your trip to Italy Lucky you

    Good luck everybody.
