I hope the pea and ham soup works out ok for you, I tried it once and it turned out really salty. I know now where I went wrong, so it would be great to hear how you did.
We have those days where if it works great, if not then there's a back-up plan. Usually when we go fishing, if we catch something then it's great it's fish and salad for tea, if we don't then it's egg salad instead :rotfl: Just so long as there's a back-up in place and a failure doesn't mean a trip to the nearest takeaway.

Well I've had the December bill for my mobile phone, and it's only £20.71, which is less than normal. I've budgeted £30 a month as it's usually more than £25 a month, plus the VAT increase will affect the amount in 2011.
My year will start on December 22 as that's when I get paid. I hope that makes sense!0 -

I look forward to hearing more!
Flying Fresian ... do you still have a diary thread? I seem to remember following you for a while (not in a stalkerish way I swear) but then I had to cut back as I was spending waaaay too much time on MSE!
Click here! I'm still on the DFW forums even though I became debt-free this year

seriouslyfrugal - My DH had the day of work today, so he took me to work, and I'm glad he did because the roads were pretty treacherous! Not looking forward to the drive to work tomorrow!
Kerry Woman - I think fuel duty is going up again soon too. I'm going to have to think more about what journeys I make in the car in 2011.
Aril - well done on the work bonus! :T
Dinner tonight was pasta with red pesto, toasted pine nuts and grated cheese on top plus a salad. It was quick and tasty, so we've decided to try to keep a stock of pesto - red and green, as we've had that meal with green pesto before - in the cupboard, as well as pine nuts. DH could also add chicken to his sometimes.0
