I'm just a bit worried that if I buy one for my nephew, it might make his legs go like those of the two chaps in the photo....?

Are the quality of these jumpers decent?
  • I nearly bought one last week for OH...a lovely deep red one. They are a bit on the scratchy side, so would have to be worn over a shirt or t-shirt, but they are quite nice to be honest. And not even all that scratchy, just we both have pretty sensitive skin so anything that isn't cotton makes me itch automatically!!! Well worth £10, IMO!

I was reading the reviews and had to lol
    This one caught my eye
"I bought this jumper for my son a few weeks ago, he has worn it a few times and it has gone very "bobbily". It has not yet been washed - I am really disappointed about this. The reason I bought it from Marks and Spencer is because I thought it wouldn't go bobbily!"

    ewwww wash it sooner maybe.

Anyone else know about the quality of these. People are always quick to complain but less so to spend the time writing how happy they were with items.

I used to live in M&S lambswool jumpers.
They may feel scratchy, but after the first wash they go all lovely and soft and smooth, like a lamb ;)

You wont need a t shirt underneath, they feel lovely and soft.

They can have a propensity to go a little out of shape if you have a habit of pulling your arms into the sleeves, like me.

I am going to pass, as using MSE mantra, yes I can afford it, but no I dont need it however it is a bargain and a half and if you haven't had one before then take a punt you wont regret it....

lol agreed. sweaters go back to normal size after washing. but i'll keep that in mind when i try them on tomorrow. Won't go a size up unless absolutely necessary (gained a few pounds lately haha).
