I ran off to Tesco thinking I was going to get a lovely chicken for £1.99 - thought I'd been charged incorrectly but then noticed it was £1.99 per kg. I really must read these offers more carefully. It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0

Thanks OP just got back from my local Tesco, 2 lonely finest corn fed chickens left on the shelf SEL said half price ticket on chickens still full price with no reduction grabbed them both paid £14.04 at the till for them went to CS got an apology lol and £14.04 refunded!
2 excellent quality chickens for nowt cant say fairer than that
Still NO Surf B1G2F though 3rd day I have called in for this and the shelf was empty apart from 1 lonely bottle
Never mind they had the ariel gell half price for 4 quid the MRS prefers this anyhow so all good.
Going to enjoy a lovely chicken dinner later courtesy of Tesco
I have to say as well my Tesco are brilliant you dont even have to ask for DTD they do it automatically then tell you at the end you have got DTD and seem really proud and happy about it, none of this nonsense arguing with store managers and CS trouts 10 out of 10 to my local Mr T"You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0 -
Thought I would be too late but popped into my local Tesco this morning.
Label clearly said half price but all chickens were labelled at full price.
Bought four and was charged full price at the till. CS gave me a full refund with no quibble although I could tell the lady was surprised so maybe I was the first one to bring this to their attention.
Four very nice free chickens - thanks OP! :j0 -
Or go to sainsburys and get their large ones which are even cheaper ............ £1.62/kg ....0

They didn't have any half price in my local yesterday, couldn't even find a space or label where they would have been???0
-
what day does the offer end?0

Meant to finish today, so I guess it depends how stocks last. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
