Not surprised. I saw them instore today too. Looked like they had been labelled at the factory some with the full price and some with half price and then a new half price sticker was stuck over the full price ones. I'd imagine some have slipped through the net. CS MUST give DTD-It's their policy, not ours !

  • Well I got 2 which were marked as full price & got CS to refund me half of the cost for each but that took some effort! Wanted me to buy 2 which were marked as half price dispite them being much smaller, I wanted big chickens!! Is it worth me making a call to Tesco HO?
  • My OH went to our local Tesco this morning and they had the half price notice but the chickens had the full price on them. He bought 5 and then went to CS and got DTD!

I went out to get one of these this evening for tomorrows dinner and picked out 2. I then noticed 2 at full price without the discount. I checked everything on the labels and SEL's and bought 4, 2 full price without the discount and 2 half price with a half price sticker on. Got charged the full price on 2 and got back DTD, making them effectivly free. Ha Ha. The DTD ones are sell by 5/12/10 and use by 6/12/10. I just unwrapped one and it smells fine, the other 3 are in the freezer.
