    I'd be interested to see what the lenders would do if the base rate was raised. The base rate dropped 5% in just over a year, yet most lenders' SVRs only dropped about 2.5-3%.

    But they didn't fall 70% in 3 [STRIKE]months[/STRIKE] years.

    I know it may not feel it but it really is that long now.:eek:

    I was being generous as some were going on about 70% falls since 2007 (EG 70% club) or earlier.

    I was not aware it was to be 70% before Christmas 2010.:)

    70% is moderate, there used to be a 90% club on HPC.

    Anyway, when are the Halifax figures out. I feel as if the bull/bear thing could do with something to argue about.
