My friends and I were meant to be going to Olympia last week - but one of them is really ill (though getting better now!) so we decided to move Christmas, hopefully they are both coming to mine sometime (probably May by the time we get round to it!!) for turkey and present exchanges, so there are going to be quite a few double Christmasses this time round !!!

Im still on the hunt for a HG shampoo and moisturiser as well - this oil i use is good, but quite messy.anyone any ideas?? Ive tried the BS ones, but they ( the vit E one and the carrot one) both feel really heavy and thick??Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

Hello ladies - merry Christmas! Couple ins to report - a Molton Brown set with minis, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion & shower gel, a Carmex lip balm, and S&G Calm One, Calm All, Fab Pore and Scrub of Your Life - all really wanted! I've been dying to try The Fab Pore but will try to resist using it until I've used the Clinique one I'm on. Also got a new pair of exfoliating gloves too (pink!) so the current grotty ones will be consigned to the bin tomorrow.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Merry Christmas ladies!
We're away and had a lovely relaxing day. Fab walk in the snow by the sea this morning to wear off the full Welsh brekkie, before round 2 at lunchtime!
My ins were some lovely hair products from Umberto Giannini. A big Shine Spray and some intriguing Brightening Plus Hair elixir in 4 little pump action tubes.
DD added some S & G to her stash, a DKNY Pure Set and some Brilliant Brunette products.
On a sad note, have been watching the news, so sorry for the family of the young woman who went missing in Bristol, although if it is Joanna that was found, at least the not knowing will be at an end for her parents.

Don't bin the old exfoliating gloves EssexHebridean, they are great for cleaning round fiddly things, I also pop mine on when cleaning the bath -often I don't need any chemicals to assist if I use these.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

Some INs- a large bottle of Abahna Bath Foam, which I found out was £22  I don't really use bubble bath so might hang on to it and pass it on as a gift (cheeky I know but better than leaving it gathering dust somewhere!), Victoria Beckham Intimately perfume from DD (I also ordered Ghost Anticipation and some more Samsara for myself in the sales online:o)
One UU- Aussie Mega Shampoo. I love this and have one in the stash, however I am thinking of trying the CO method so might not get anymore after this next one is gone.
Bronnie, I thought the same thing about that poor family. Its the last thing they want to hear but it must be better than not knowing. Or is it a case of "no news is good news"? I can't imagine how they must be feeling0 -

Brilliant tip - I wouldn't have thought of this so thanks very much - I reckon they will clean round the taps on the handbasin brilliantly! :T🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi guys - nothing in for me, which is just fine considering I've got the remainder of my stash + the SG box to use, but I did go on the Boots website and order some things which will be given as presents during the year. I've got them at 50% off, but I will go back when it hits 70% to see if I can get some more (I got by brother two or three smelly sets dirt cheap last year and they were brilliant as presents as part of his birthday gift). Hopefully, I'll be able to bag some bargains.
Best of luck bargain hunting guys! Please call me 'Pickle'

I'm going to resist the Body Shop sale (so everyone please stop talking about it! only use coded language!). I prefer this body butter which is a large size too:
http://www.champneys.com/Collection/Bath_and_Body/Moisture_Miracle/Moisture_Miracle_Skin_Comforting_Creamy_Body_Butter
I love the Champneys body butters too! I have got two minis left (one currently in use) and I had been thinking of looking out to see if they are on offer in Sainsbury's but I have had some body butters for Xmas and so I must resist!0 -
Morning!
Happy Boxing day! I've been doing some serious stash counting and although a little disappointed that I still have a lot I think things are getting better overall. So here's the plan (you may want to grab a cup of tea whilst reading!). The plan basically is to abstain err damn well avoid buying the following for either 6 or 3 months - and I show the stash i have on the right hand side:
No buying anything in this list for 6 months:
No foundation or powder - Bourjois; Tesco x2; Collection 2000; Clinique; Laura Geller.
No bronzer or blusher - Elf bronzer, Elf kit, Clarins bronzer, MUA bronzer, MUA pink blush, Laura Geller.
No moisturiser - Clarins SPF; BS seaweed x3; Nivea; Nivea soft x2; Clarins; Clinique x2; L’Oreal.
No body butter - Body Shop mango, Nivea, Palmers cocoa butter, Avon, S&G x 2. Clarins, Elemis.
No bath or shower gel - Radox smoothies x4, remains of Champneys, Avon candy bath, S&G, Nivea.
No body scrub - S&G x2.
No hand cream - S&G, Nivea, Elemis, Aveeno, Clarins.
No nail polish - I have loads!
No buying anything in this list for 3 months:
No mascara - Rimmel volume flash, Clarins sample
No eyemake up or pencils - loads!
No eyebrow pencil - Mac (fling)
No cleanser - Clarins extra comfort; Clarins extra gentle.
No exfoliant - Dermologica microexfoliant; Dermologica gentle cream exfoliant; S&G, Clarins.
No eye make up remover - L’Oreal gentle one; Botanics one.
No lip gloss - Rimmel bubblegum flavour(!), S&G, Superdrug.
So that tells me I do not need anything! Clearly if all stash on a particular item runs out then I can buy replacement. So the only thing I SHOULD be buying in the next 3 months is... basics like: Cotton wool. Toothpaste. Deodorant. Dry hair shampoo. (use so much, it’s never here long!). Shampoo/conditioner. (pretty much under control, and I use it quickly with long hair). Clinique spot clearing gel.
This puts it into perspective. I keep thinking of my mum with just one make up bag with just one of everything.
I think I’m likely to run lowest on cleanser and exfoliant first. If there are really decent magazine offers I may be tempted or if there are really good gift with purchase (eg John Lewis do a really good one where the freebies are nearly full size 30 ml). So it is going to be hard but doing this reverse kind of shopping list is showing me what I do not need. Plus how lovely will it be to have...creams, lotions and potions I absolutely love, make up that looks great and I absolutely love and in 2 make up bags, one for home and one for work. Done. :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
