It's a fortnight now since my first post here and I've not bought a thing in the conventional toiletries line. I have bought a hair colourant, but then I got complimented on my current colour the other day, so I'll put off using that for a while I think. It's my intention to get to Jan 10th without buying anything and then I'll review, but I'm fairly certain I can get to March 1st without needing to buy anything.
I've got two half-used Lush shampoo bars that I know will last a couple of months.

To stretch out the shower gels I'm using unwanted bubble bath on a body puff, and I've also earmarked the spare bubble bath to replace handwash when that runs out. For days when I know I won't be going out (usually 2 a week - I mostly work from home) I've decided that the moisturisers without a spf will be fine.

  • you've not done too bad yourself pickle :D

Merry Christmas to everyone, just looking at the online sales while I wait for the dinner to finish cooking.

More IN's to report - S&G full size daily smooth body butter, S&G full size body scrub, and S&G full size shower gel...also S&G mini's from a gift set: hand cream, scrub, shower gel, body butter and wipes...also (as I suspected) got £20 bodyshop voucher and some dior mini perfumes.

I got a gift voucher to Doctor Fish too, you put your feet in a tank of fish and they eat the dead skin, anyone tried it before? I' quite looking forward to it.

Anyone know if bodyshop gift vouchers can be spent online?

have a fab day everyone xx

Hello Trudi, you meet all the best people here, clearly! (It's And.)

:j:j:jD'you know, I thought it might be when I saw the forum name - then I thought the world wouldnt be that small !! (thinks to self - oh heck, someone else I know now will know even more naughty habits!!) HI !!!!!! :money::money::money::money:

Ive just got two INs to report - my Ted Baker set (which Im really excited about and cant wait to start using!) and a BS orange body butter from my couisns - thankfully it wasnt a nut one (which I dont like much at all!) though I cant really smell oranges at all. I do need butter though, Ive got a fingerful of my trial size Love inc one left - probably wont do even an arm - and also about my arms and knees amount of a s&g one left - so just the right time to stop me raiding the BS sale !!!

Hope everyone is having a super Christmas day - and dont go going mad in the sales !!!!

:money: :money: :money:I'm glad the body butter was one you could use Troods! I was pretty chuffed to see you posting, too, to say the least! :D
I asked my son for some facial creams and got my fave Olay stuff - Anti Wrinkle Classic lotion, cream and eye gel. I'm really delighted with the eye gel as sometimes my eyes do get a bit puffy with all the time I spend online (I work as an e-tutor so it's an occupational hazard).
Tomorrow I exchange presents with my daughter (who is also a Trudi). I'm going to tell her about this site. Unlike her Mum, she isn't really a forum-y person. but one never knows.
