Seller stole my photo

Anyone had any experience of another seller stealing photos?
I listed an item and took the time to take a half decent shot with a digital camera.
Now looking at other listing for the same item it appears that someone has stolen my shot. I know it's mine cause the background is the same.
What should I do? Can I report it?

Send the seller a message explaining it's not permitted, and asking them nicely to remove it.
If you don't get a response within 24 hours, report it to ebay.
That's what I'd do.My TV is broken!

Thanks, but the item has now ended (just)
still don't feel they should get away with it though, how do I go about reporting it?0 -

At worst, they'll get a warning. It's not as if ebay can withdraw the auction now it's over.My TV is broken!

It's only a photo. I can't see what the fuss is about

It's bloody rude.
Also, how would you feel about bidding for an item, looking at the photo, then finding out it looked different, or wasn't in as good a condition as the one in the stolen photo? My TV is broken!

Some scammers don't have the item which they put up for sale and take pictures from other listings to make it out they do have it. Happens usually with high value stuff and cars. Not saying it happened in this case but probably worth reporting in case it is a scam.0

I believe that photos are a unique part of the listing ! It shows some thought and care by the seller to best show off their product.
I would be mighty miffed if someone took one of my photos to use on their auction.
Just because they are on the web, does NOT mean that anyone can take and use them, the copyright rests with me and the photo is my property!
Ebay does clearly state in their t & c's that you should NOT use other people's photos.0 -
In future maybe you could overwrite your user id on the photo, so if it is nicked then the photo will have to be defaced to be useable or indeed unuseable !!!0
