I guess it depends on the depot, where the majority actually do a good job, there are a few depots full of layabouts that in all honest simply cannot be bothered to deliver any parcels or packages, so deliberately leave them behind and carry a load of prepared cards proclaiming you are not in, so they can tiptoe up to your door and slip it through the letterbox.

Some will make the feeble excuse of "well we get too many parcels to deliver nowadays", like that is the customers problem, the fact a sender has paid for a service that involves a parcel going from A to B seems irrelevant.

I caught my postman red handed today as well. He didn't have the parcel with him, just told me to pick it up from the collection office without even an apology :mad:
