Got my vouchers today also.
I have been an agent with them for 6 years and have never had a problem though i must admit i was a little worried when web site went down. No one that orders them through me wants any vouchers next year due to farepak and i cant say i blame them.
Its a shame that nothing can be done to ensure customers get back what they paid in if the company goes bustNumber 4 due 21st jan0 -
Unfortunately, that's the way business is run. If you made a payment to any company, which then "went bust" before you received your goods, you (most probably) loose your money. IIRC, there was something like this (although not on as big a scale) when Courts (sofa) closed down. Joe Public is ALWAYS the one who looses out the most.0

Like others I got my Park Vouchers at the weekend £450 worth BUT have lost confidence in these companies now so will not be getting any more in the future.
Savings account for me too next year but my mums just so I am not tempted to dip into it through year:rolleyes:  which was why i got vouchers in the first place.

i had a lengthy chat with someone from park and they said they are trying to devise a savings scheme or similar for next year where your money wont actually be touched until all paid for and good received or the like - they realise noone will want to touch them so they are looking for ways to make it safe for us and reassure us....0

Got my Park delivery schedule this morning. On the bottom of the letter is this paragraph -
"You may have heard about the recent collapse of Farepak. We were saddened to hear of the situation and we extend our sympathies to all those who have been affected. However, we have no connection with Farepak at all and can assure you that your orders are completely safe. We are a UK listed company, we have no bank borrowings at all and enjoy a strong cash flow, which supports current and future business activities. Thank you for your orders and continued loyalty"
Good to hear, especially alongside magoogy's post, but still not sure if I'll use them again.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0
