    Hi everyone,

    Busy, but productive day today.
Early start, OH and I went to A$da for the Christmas shop, got just about all we need and I paid using my savings card, so that doesnt count as a spend.:)Then we went for a coffee at C0$ta and we paid for it using points, so no spend,:) I had ordered books for my niece fo her birthday, but they havent turned up so we had to buy others as we're seeing her tomorrow. However Im not counting that as a spend as I will get the money back for the original ones.:)

Came home, finished my wrapping, got the decs up and OH did the housework:)

I feel pretty organised, so Im about to have my curry and celebrate another NSD:j # 12 please!

    Love the wiggle Spoon........FAB-U-LOUS!

One more week to go, one more week to Santa,
One more week till the big fat fella comes down your chimney and he leaves you presents and he drinks your beer,
    One more week to Santa!

Starting to feel a bit more Christmassy - we have a Ringtons hamper this year and I will be unpacking it all tomorrow. I have got the meat from the butchers so will only need fresh stuff plus fruit and veg next week, all of which I can get locally, so no fighting my way round supermarkets till after the festivities.

The good news - NSD #6 for me today :T

The middling news - an extra 4 hours for me at work on Sunday (10am-2pm) which is good news in terms of extra income. Only drawback (which makes it middling news) is I'm meant to be at the running club Christmas party tomorrow night and that doesn't finish until 1am on Sunday, and I'll then have to be back up by 8:30am to get ready for work...... plus I'm supposed to be going out for a run with elder DS in the afternoon (but he's happy to hold off until 3pm, so that's still possible dependant on the weather)

The bad news - the white stuff started coming down again almost as soon as I got home from work, and the flakes have been getting thicker and thicker over the last 4.5 hours :( Currently have over an inch on my window sills, and can't see the handles on my wheelie bin lids

I've got enough cardboard to take to the tip for recycling and planned to get rid before younger DS descends on me on Sunday, but there's no way I'm taking the car out on a non-emergency run in this.

I was also planning on driving to/from the party tomorrow night, but there's no way I'm attempting that in this either. Don't mind the walk there (starts at 7:30pm and is only about 1.4 miles from home), but don't fancy walking back at 1am..... will have to re-consider whether I'm going, as it's not even weather I'd like to get into a taxi during 'cos I don't like other people driving me at the best of times (and I don't like paying for them, especially at post-midnight rates ;))

Hello all sorry I've just been doing flying visits on to update total but its a little hectic here (and everywhere at this time of year anim_59.gif).
Still full of the dreaded lurgy so I dont think that is helping however I seem to have got a lot of productive stuff done ahead of a very busy week next week. I wrapped everything for my friends birthday/christmas parcel on Wednesday evening to get in the post Thursday (only to be told Wed was the last day for parcel post mad0005.gif) so it went by first class mail and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will make it to her in time. Part of the parcel was quite arty crafty (well for me anyway ashamed0002.gif) and I am soooo pleased with how they turned out - so much so that I even took photos ashamed0002.gif. I've never had much luck adding photos on here but I might try and show you all at some point (I know someone explained how to do it on another thread and I followed the instructions but it didnt seem to work so if anyone else has any tips they'd be appreciated).
Today DS has a party at the local fire station which should be great fun - he went last year with a friend of mine (who's mum works there thats how he got the invite) but this year they have asked if I will go aswell so I'm quite looking forwar to it and tomorrow, weather permitting, we are off to Glasgow to see Aladdin the panto happy0005.gif. Monday is my last chance to drop of antoher friends birthday pressie (birthday 23rd but its the only chance I will get all week) and her son's Christmas pressie aswell as fitting in a dentist appointment, finishing DS's costume for his nativity on Tuesday, finish wrapping and cleaning the flat, Tuesday is DS nativity and I need to try and get all pressies up to my mums and hidden away as the rest of the week DS will be with me when I am free, Wed I am working all day, Thursday is another day off (DS with me this time) and I will need to deliver one more pressie (cant get it done before now as the lady is a teacher and doesnt finish work until Wed) and see my friend with her 2 kids to play/swap gifts, Friday I am back at work until 5pm then straight up to my parents (they are looking after DS because the nursery closes on Thursday) and then we will be staying there the night ready for the big day - phew I think I might be knackered by the end of it all happy0157.gif

Anyway back on topic. No more NSD's to add YET but I think today might be one. Tomorrow is unlikely although tickets are paid for and we are taking a picnic in the car for lunch so that should keep it to a minimum and the rest of the week is going to be bedlam so hopefully there be no chance of spending. Do need to make sure I get some bread and milk and a carrot for Rudolph as we managed to forget one last year and DS wasnt impressed ashamed0005.gif.

Hope everyone is well and isnt having too much trouble with the snow
