Is there somewhere you can download the speed camera database for free by any chance?

    No.

Only £2 a month from PocketGPSWorld, or £19 annually. £39 annually from Garmin when it finally becomes available.
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

Could someone tell me if the unit is supplied with the car charger and if not where the best place to buy one from would be? Thanks

It's supplied with a car power supply - it doesn't "charge" it as such, but keeps it powered up while you're driving.

Don't plan on actually running it on batteries. The 6 hours quoted is without the backlight running, with the backlight turned on they run out very quickly.

The battery powered aspect is useful for programing it before plugging it in, or if you want to use it away from the car.

I missed this last time it was on at £99.
Excellent accessory!! Used it twice after my Next-Day-Delivery and cannie fault it!
Run and get one, if it's still available! :D

  • I have never used the cig lighter lead and always used rechargeable batteries, the handbook says you need at least 2300mah and thats what I use and get about 5 hours from them. You can program it in the house and dont have to bother cluttering the car with the lead, plus, if you stop and turn the engine off, the settings are lost and you have to program the thing again.
