  • Great spot.
Got one of these last month for my dad at £125. Great little unit. Basic but does the job.

I bought one of these last week... tested it over the week and it's great. It's very small so easily fits in the glove box. Screen is clear (albeit small). Picks up a signal easily and quickly and recalculates the route if you take a wrong turn very quickly too... For £99 delivered it a good buy.

Am I the only person who would never buy from the CPW?
Maybe a great price, but pray you do not have a problem with it or you are on your own.

You can get it from Comet via Quidco to get 3.5% cashback with free delivery who will price match it, subjected to their T&Cs:

Question : trnsp.gifDoes Comet price match?
Answer : We’ve been offering the best range of electrical products at the best prices for over 70 years.

    Always Low Prices
Not only do we give you the low prices you expect, we also check over 27,000 competitor store prices and 1000s of online prices every week to ensure our prices are always competitive. We constantly monitor the prices and services offered by the following major retailers to ensure you always get a great price:

    • Argos
    • Carphone Warehouse
    • Currys
    • John Lewis
    • PCWorld
    • Tesco
    • The Link
    The Comet Price Guarantee

    • If you find a lower price from any of the retailers listed above or in a local store (within 10 miles of your nearest Comet store) that we have missed, let us know and we'll not only match that price, but also beat it by 10% of the difference. For purchases completed over the telephone, the store must be within 10 miles of your home post code area.
    14 Day Protection

    • Even after you’ve made your purchase, we won't stop protecting you. The Comet Price Guarantee applies for up to 14 days after you've made your purchase with us. We'll not only match the price, but also beat it by 10% of the difference.
This Applies Provided the following rules apply:

    • The product must be pristine (boxed and sold as new).
    • It must be in stock and available for immediate delivery.
    • We must be able to verify the offer either by written evidence (e.g. advert, quotation, dated screen print) or verbally from our competitors.
    We Do Not Match

    • Any other online electrical retailers other than those listed, as none are able to match the full range of Comet services.
    • Product prices offered by warehouse clubs or any retail club requiring membership.
    • Any short term or voucher promotions, whether online or in a store
    • Mail order and internet companies, other than those listed.
    • Warranty prices, as no competitor’s warranty is directly comparable to our own
    Hope this helps :j

Bought one when out of stock - arrived within 3 days!

Excellent for £99 - much cheaper when compared to other models and does exactly what it says on the tin!

I have used 5 different types of GPS receivers over 2 years inc. Tom Tom & Sony, but this particular Garmin i3 has easily been the best as far as accuracy and ease of use, and with the added bonus of free speed camera warnings!! I now have 4 of these units and have never had a prob with one.
