Your version of malwarebytes is WAAAY out of date
UPDATE malwarebytes (At least twice, until it says your up to date) and rescan
If it wont update then you need to uninstall it and follow my instructions from the top:idea:0 -

frankie,
Just passing to say good luck.I am smiling because you are about as computer literate as me...we all have to start somewhere.
I now have malwarebytes and hijack this installed on my pc.Havent got a clue when/how i will use them again. And all this copy/pasting stuff has me baffled sometimes........There are some great cyber people on here RIK and creditcardmayhem(or whatever hes called!) are just 2........keep at it0 -
Oh and peek at my thread called 'trojan horse' and see the probs i have..0

Sounds to me like it either wasnt the AVG website, or you simply clicked on the version that wasnt free
Either way, please follow the instructions in post #50 -
Having installed AVAST and doing all the above, I have just started having further problems. An error came up with my google chrome, and then some emails have been sent from my aol account again. Seems as though I havent unistalled avg, although having tried several times and rebooting it comes up with an error message, saying something like not enough priviliges to continue. I have also uninstalled avast, and basically have no protection other than windows defender, malwarebytes. Please can someone talk me through what to do, as I clearly havent done anything right.0

Run AVG removal tool
AVG Remover(32bit) 2011
(avg_remover_stf_x86_2011_1149.exe)
Then
Download HIJACK THIS
http://download.cnet.com/3001-8022_4...3e66c4b678a8f6
(It auto downloads, do NOT click to download anything off the page)
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)0
