can I ask what you use the smaller ones for?

I never seem to have enough big ones, so I'm always decanting part-used things into the smaller sizes to free up the big ones :D I also use them for half tins of stuff like beans or tuna if I don't use a whole tin at once. They are great for keeping half an onion or lemon fresh too. HTH :)

  • I use the tiny ones for garlic. It keeps for weeks. I like the small round ones if I want to use half an onion. I have kept the other half for well over a week without any onion smell in the fridge. I have had a large collection for a few years and I throw far less food away.

i just went to order these and looked at the "double" option because it was cheaper postage, i thought i would be charged "double" price ie £42 and then the cheaper 5.95 for delivery....

but it want to charge me £26.95 in total?

does this mean i will only get one set? not "double"?

if this case what does "double" mean on this offer? any ideas??

    thanks

I think the single set is £13.50; the double set is £21. So you get 24 for £26.95 including p&p. That's got to be good value....I'm tempted to go for them as well. I paid 99p for one of the tiny ones in our local Boyes store. If you are looking on the QVC website on the front page the prices are correct, but if you look at the product detail it does sound like you are only getting 12.

....OK just had another look and on the 'availability options' you select the 'double option', comes up at £21 so that'll be right!

it does sound like you are getting 12 - i thought this when I saw it so I waited to see it actually on qvc to find out. Since early this afternoon it hasn't let me order - keeps saying there is an error

managed to order the double with 5 minutes to spare. Wanted it in clear but they had sold out of the double in clear so went for the light blue

I'm sure you won't regret it Sian...you know how much I use mine. Now to own up I've also ordered the double [ I know I said I wouldn't!] in the green
