Proof of what....SNOW?, simply tell them straight, you will post them when you are able to, no kind of proof (unless they want a picture of snow), send the photos registered post so you have evidence of posting them. If they are not happy with that, tell them you look forward to hearing what a judge has to say about it.
P.S. (scan them first).

lol, by proof they mean proof of posting, not proof of snow. iv told them i will get a certificate of posting (im certain im not going to pay anthing for the priviledge of returning them) but i cant get to the post office within the allotted 2 weeks.0

will i be liable for them if i just put them in the postbox and they say they didnt get them? im actually debating just buying them as i feel really uneasy about sending them back incase i end up having to pay anyway and get nothing for it.
And THAT'S why they get away with it! I think a letter stating that you'll return them when you're able to do so with proof of postage should suffice.
Do NOT allow them to guilt you into spending 50 quid on something you're not happy with0 -
What a dodgy practice! Coming round maternity wards and snapping away. You're hardly likely to be at your most with-it. I'd hate some stranger to come round and take a picture of my baby a few hours after it was born and then try to extort £50 out of me afterwards! I'm amazed hospitals let them in."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

the hospitals actively encourage it, the halls are full of their "wares" and there was a branded card from said studio in her cot already waiting, before she was even born, they wrote her name and weight etc on it and used it as a "name tag" for the crib seconds after her birth. Nothing like sponsoring your way into business.0

How are they able to charge you £50 if you don't send them back? Did you complete your credit card details on the consent form? If you did, then kudos to you, I wasn't in any state to do that within days of Andrew's birth :rotfl:
I'm suspecting the answer to the above is that you didn't - so you are expected to pay them now. Don't. Explain to them by email that there is snow and that you are advised against travelling unless necessary (this doesn't count as necessary); you will return them, with proof of postage, once the weather improves. Without your banking details, all they can do is post you invoices and reminder letters. They'll have to do that for quite a while before any court will entertain them starting small claims action against you - certainly for longer than this snow will be here.

hi there. no they didnt take any details, she didnt even get my name right. just cant be doing with small claims courts or baliffs turning up for pics. i wouldnt even scan them, i dont want them as they look awful!0

Dont fret, there will be NO small claims courts or bailiffs (you need a court order for a bailiff), when you are able to post them, post them.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

God, I find that genuinely shocking. Perhaps I'm a bit naive about these things but I'd really want to concentrate on having my baby, not presenting some company with a business opportunity. If someone stuck some calling card in my baby's cot it would go straight in the bin."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
iv just had another look at the card that was from her crib. its obviously "official use" as it has the nhs number tag number ect on it and the time vitamin k was injected, with a lovely "compliments of *** photography"
what a sell out!0
