O'Dwyer comes over as an eternal optimist!
Makes for jaw dropping reading!Pigsback’s Mega Deals service, which was launched last August
Really - did anyone actually know about this? Our members have taken to it
Again - really? Are any of them here?
I'm pretty sure that if anyone (presumably from pigsback's Ireland site, because I assume it was launched there first? Or are there other foreign Pigsback sites?) had mentioned this new MegaDeals, there would have been some hearty discussions about it on here!0 -

Had a browse this morning and the deals are really bad, stuff that I can't imagine many people want.
Who wants luxury skincare and fitness supplements? At this time of year, people want things they can give as Christmas presents or small simple treats for themselves.
I'll be leaving and forfeiting my £8.47 credit. Huge thanks to the folk on this thread over the years who contributed quiz answers, crossword answers (back in the day), links to clickthroughs and their time and effort to make the site fun. I'll miss it.0 -
Pigsback will be laughing all the way to the bank with all the cash that no-one can now spend or from those that unsubscribe. Absolutely shocking way to treat members. It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0

Looks like they have form on doing this.
Google "Pigsback and Canada" and they shut down the Canada website in 2008 with no notice - seems lots of people there were messed about and lost their precious pig points.
I can't add links as I'm classed as a new user.
Rip off merchants. Mr Dwyer looks a shady character as well in his Youtube clips.0 -
If they hadn't done this they would just have gone bust instead. One way or another people would have lost out. I thought they were about to go under last year so quickly redeemed what I could (£5 theatre voucher). What I really wanted was an Amazon/M&S voucher, but because I thought they could go under any time I have been redeeming as soon as I can. I still lost out though, as I continued to collect points even though I planned to stop after my last voucher.0

I can't even log in to the rubbish site now!!
It shows "Hi Guest" in the box on the left, but there is only a tab to "Logout" at the top and nowhere to allow me to log in. Have sent a Help message - let's see if they reply to this one because my complaint about changing the site without warning has fallen on deaf ears - or maybe that's why I can't log in . Hmmm??0 -

Oh yes, I see it now , written in grey on top of a grey line. I hope they get a Megadeal for Specsavers next.
Has the Irish site gone Megadeals too as I know they used to get different offers in the past ?
What is the point of a website which 'sells' only 5 products? I thought we could use the points on the Best of the Rest too , but apparently not.0
